Jill Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame is now technically past her predicted due date for delivering her first baby. She and hubby Derick Dillard are no doubt counting the days until ‘Baby Dilly’ joins them. They’re remaining optimistic in the meantime, however, and Jill Duggar even said a few days ago she expects their baby to be overdue.

On Friday, Derick Dillard posted what could be the last of the pregnancy photos he has taken of Jill Duggar ever since discovering they were expecting.

“I wonder if #babydilly will decide to come on the one year anniversary of my engagement to @jillmdillard this weekend,” Dillard captioned an Instagram photo. In the snapshot, Jill Duggar–like so many times before–holds up a small chalkboard to document her progress. “40 weeks 2 days,” the sign reads.

Just a few days ago on March 24th, Jill Duggar shared a photo of Derick Dillard after he completed installing their baby’s carseat into their car.

“Papa dilly installed the car seat today! Ready for #babydilly to come any day! #duedate @derickdillard,” she captioned the shot.

Do you suppose members of the Duggar family are taking bets (well, certainly not with money–that probably goes against the family’s beliefs) as to what day Jill Duggar will give birth to ‘Baby Dilly?’

Since Jill is in training to become a midwife, she certainly understands that he will come when he’s good and ready.
