A small corporate jet ran off the runway at Flying Cloud Airport in Minneapolis this morning, crashing through a chain-link fence and coming to rest on the side of a roadway.

Officials say there were no passengers aboard the 7-passenger plane, and the two crew members were unharmed in the accident. An investigation is ongoing by the FAA. The Embraer Phenom 300 landed on Flying Cloud Drive, which resulted in the road being closed for several hours.

There have been several accidents involving aircraft this year; in July, a plane crashed into a mobile home park in Maryland, injuring the pilot. In June, a plane crashed near Chicago, landing on a busy highway and narrowly avoiding an apartment building. And in May, a plane did crash into an apartment building in Virginia after the engine died, injuring both crew members.
