  • Jessica Simpson is absolutely beaming. The newest addition to her family of now four is now plastered on the cover of Us Weekly along with her 15-month-old daughter, Maxwell. The little, blonde baby Ace made his debut in the pop-culture world featured on the cover of the magazine.

Simpson gave birth to her second child, Ace Knute mid-summer on June 30th. Simpson, 33, who’s been engaged to fiancé, Eric Johnson since November of 2010 couldn’t be more complete. She tells the magazine that, “With two kids, we have our hands full, but every day is a new adventure. … It’s fun! I feel very at peace with being a mom.”

This is good news for the pop singer since she’s had her way with drama in the past. Simpson was married to pop singer, Nick Lachey and publicly displayed their early years on the show, “Newlyweds” that aired on MTV. Unfortunately, the marriage wasn’t a match made in pop star heaven. The two divorced nearly seven years ago.

“We’re not in touch,” the 39-year-old singer told E! News when asked if he’d talked to Simpson after giving birth to her son.

Regardless of the lack of communication between the two old flames, Lachey has no hard feelings.

“I certainly wish her the best, and I would like to think the same on her end, but we don’t speak,” said Lachey. “We haven’t spoken in years.”

So what’s next for Simpson and the gang?

“With two kids, we have our hands full, but every day is a new adventure,” the 33-year-old singer, who gave birth to Ace via planned C-section on June 30, told Us Weekly. “It’s fun! I feel very at peace with being a mom.”
