Jessica Simpson is going to have a new step-dad.

In a statement to Us Weekly, a rep for Jessica Simpson confirmed that her mom, Tina Simpson, is engaged to boyfriend Jon Goldstein.

“After 2 years of dating, Jon Goldstein and Tina Simpson are engaged. They are thrilled and completely in love!,” reads the statement.

Tina Simpson, 55, also confirmed the news by sharing a photo of her new fiancé and her massive ring on Instagram, with the caption, “He put a ring on it #intheclouds #gardener4life #loveofmylife.”

“Like her daughters, Tina, 55, chose a non-traditional ring that looks more “vintage-inspired, cut in an Art Deco-like marquise shape in yellow gold inset with smaller diamonds,” according to People magazine.

Jon Goldstein, a high-end landscaper who owns Johnny Appleseed Landscaping, which is the company responsible for properties including the Bel-Air Hotel. accompanied Tina last July for Jessica Simpson’s wedding to NFL player Eric Johnson.

“He’s a really nice guy,” a friend of Goldstein’s told Us. “He’s always cared about Tina…He’s known them for 15 years and has been a part of their family. He’s so happy she said yes! I know he had been planning on asking her for a while.”

Although they say they have been dating for two years, Tina and Goldstein only photographed for the first time at Jessica Simpson’s July 4, 2014, wedding at San Ysidro Ranch.

Both Jessica Simpson and daughter Ashlee Simpson are said to be happy that their mom has found love again after her marriage to Joe Simpson ended after 34 years in April 2013.

“They’re happy that their mom is happy,” another source told Us.
