Jessica Simpson has been planning her wedding with fiance Eric Johnson since 2010, and she says it’s going to be a doozy.
The actress/singer said during a recent interview that Johnson has a large family, so they aren’t even going to try to do a small ceremony. And although she isn’t giving up the date, she did say it’s coming up soon, as they’re about to send out invitations.
”I’ve been very picky on how I want everything to look and feel. Eric’s family alone is almost 90 people, so it’ll definitely be a big event. We’re very close to sending out our invites,” she said.
The upcoming nuptials haven’t kept Simpson from doing what she loves most, however, as she says she’s in the process of building a studio in her home and is ready to get back onstage.
“We’re building a studio in our house. I bought a house from Ozzy Osbourne, so a lot of the studio was already set up. I want to see what comes out. It’s time for me to find that out, and I can’t wait for my kids to experience that with me. Even Eric. He’s never seen me perform onstage.”
Simpson recently shared photos of herself and Johnson on Instagram, including shots of them at the beach with their children.
The couple attended President Obama’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend, where she showed off some skin in a thigh-baring dress that made headlines today.
