With her recent stint on American Horror Story, Jessica Lange proves that she’s just as exciting, interesting, and even more talented than actresses half her age. Now the 64-year old actress shows that true beauty never fades.
On Wednesday, via a tweet, Marc Jacobs announced that she is the new face of his luxury fashion line. In a picture from his new campaign, Lange shows off her beauty in a semi-noir photo. The image uses simplicity to focus on Lange’s extraordinary features.
Lange and Jacob teamed up earlier this year when she provided voice over material for his runway show at the 2014 New York Fashion Week.
Fortunately, the faces of fashion and beauty have been evolving in the recent years. NARS cosmetics brought British star Charlotte Rampling, 68, to be the face of their 20th anniversary campaign in September. Lauren Hutton, 70, was used as a model for Lucky Brand, and Diane Keaton, 68, was used for L’Oreal. Hopefully, Lange, Hutton, Keaton, and Rampling’s campaigns will encourage other companies to follow their example.

Last year, Lange announced that after the fourth season of American Horror Story, she plans to retire from acting. But with this new campaign, and possible others ventures, we don’t expect Lange to slow down anytime soon.
