Jessa Duggar Is Worried About Home Birth With Possibly Huge Baby

  • Jessa Duggar shared her worries that her baby will be a big one on social media recently, posting a screenshot of a conversation she had with family members about how much both she and husband Ben weighed at birth.

Duggar was close to 10 pounds when she was born, and Ben weighed 8 lbs. 15 oz, so he was no featherweight, either. Jessa, who is about 40 weeks into her first pregnancy, will be without her sister Jill for the birth as she and her family are in Central America on a missionary trip. However, she still plans to have the child at home, as is tradition for the women in the Duggar family.

Jessa and Ben just celebrated their first wedding anniversary, and marked the moment by sharing the full video of their big day with fans. Jessa’s due date actually fell on their anniversary, but she’s gone a couple of days over already.

“Today, Nov. 1st, Ben and I celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary. And we are super excited to share– for the very first time– THE ENTIRE, UNEDITED VIDEO OF OUR WEDDING CEREMONY!!!!” Jessa wrote.

Jessa and Ben have been focusing on the baby, their upcoming spinoff reality show on TLC, and fans recently rather than the scandals that have rocked the Duggars since May, when police reports were made public showing that eldest son Josh had sexually abused several underage girls when he was 14, including Jessa and Jill. Jessa posted a message to fans on Instagram this week, saying, “To our family and friends: Our hearts are full of gratitude toward all who worked so hard to make our special day so amazing. Thank you for pouring into our lives, and loving and encouraging us in this first year!”
