"Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been admitted to an Orlando hospital with a painful kidney stone, his rep says.

Ronnie was in Florida to promote his new alcoholic beverage line, Smush Cocktails, and started feeling pain during a convention. He later tweeted out that he was in the hospital and in a lot of pain, which was followed up by a statement from his reps.

"Ronnie was admitted to an Orlando area hospital late Saturday night," the statement said. "He's in a lot of pain and is expected to remain there for several days."

Kidney stones are usually broken up by laser once they reach a certain size and then passed through the urine stream, but sometimes the patient just has to wait it out and let them pass on their own. No word yet on whether or not Ronnie has undergone any procedures while in the hospital.
