Jenny McCarthy wants to be the last nude that runs in Playboy Magazine.

So you haven’t heard? Playboy, a magazine and later and online and video empire founded on naked women, is ditching the ‘naked’ part. Starting next spring, Playboy will no longer publish fully nude images of women in its magazine. The women will still be there, but they won’t be fully exposed.

It’s truly an end of an era. And whoever the last woman to pose nude in Playboy happens to be, they’ll be a footnote in history.

Well, Jenny McCarthy wants to have that honor.

“It breaks my heart having it be an end of an era, that we have to lose what I would consider very classy nudity in a magazine. In solidarity, I will be wearing my panties at half mast,” McCarthy said on her SiriusXM show. “And (Playboy founder) Hugh Hef(ner), maybe one more for the road. I would totally be willing to just take it all off one more time just to say I’ll be in the last one.”

Of course, McCarthy is no stranger to posing for Playboy. She started her career posing for the magazine in 1993. In 1994, McCarthy was Playmate of the year. She posed more over the years, as recently as 2012 (for her 40th birthday).
