Jennifer Lopez has had a busy week. First she traveled to the Bronx where she launched the Healthy Childhood Center at Montefiore's Community Health Fair and talked about the center and its purpose.
The center is meant to promote healthy living through community health programming, positive messages to raise children's self-image and a healthy environment so every woman, child and family can achieve their full potential.
Not only did Lopez speak at the health fair, but the Lopez Family Foundation made a $250,000 donation to Montefiore as well.
The community was extremely grateful for the donation as was Montefiore.
"We are proud to partner with Jennifer, Lynda and the entire Lopez Family Foundation to make a positive impact on the lives and futures of families in the Bronx," said Steven M. Safyer, M.D., president and CEO, Montefiore. "Montefiore's work with the Lopez Family Foundation will begin by improving vital education, understanding and access to healthy eating and exercise. It is only through partnerships like this that we can ensure every child has a healthy and nurturing childhood to achieve their full potential."
Jennifer Lopez donates to a lot of charities, but she favors neighborhoods, schools, organizations and other charities in the Bronx, where she once lived.

Lynda Lopez spoke about the Lopez Family Foundation's donation saying,
"We love having the opportunity to offer resources that mothers, children and families in the Bronx need for better access to healthcare, health information and health education," said Lynda Lopez. "The Lopez Family Foundation is passionate about the health and well-being of mothers and children, and we're excited the Center for a Healthy Childhood will go deep into the community to provide needed support – whether it's to educate about childhood nutrition, physical activity, emotional and intellectual engagement on health, or healthy pregnancies and motherhood."
This week Jennifer Lopez also released a new music video for her song First Love.
The video was directed by Anthony Mandler and Lopez's style in the video is very reminiscent of a '90s Versace supermodel. In the video she wears a cutout swimsuit, a fitted gown paired with gold platform heels and her hair is styled in a messy 90's style.
Lopez has often talked about how much she loves the fashion and styles from the 90's and her video was a great way for her to show off her look and some of her favorite clothing pieces.
What do you think of the video?
