If you have ‘liked’ the Jennifer Lawrence fan page on Facebook, you may have noticed as you were scrolling through your newsfeed this morning that she had posted a photo of herself with a new haircut, a cut very different that her usual long hair.

Shortly after, photos popped up on various websites of the star with her new hairdo. Lawrence now has a very short, pixie haircut.

The first thing that popped into many people’s mind was what will Lawrence do when playing Katniss Everdeen in the next Hunger Games movie. Katniss always sports a long blonde braid, which was perfect and easy for Lawrence to create when she had long hair.

The next time we see Lawrence as Katniss, perhaps she will be wearing a wig, if her hair is not grown out enough by the time filming begins.

As if the hair update was not enough news from Jennifer Lawrence, she then went on to amaze fans by attending the Global Google+ Fan Day Q&A, along with other actors from The Hunger Games, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, along with director Francis Lawrence.

According to E!, at the Q&A today, the actors were asked about their most favorite memory they have from filming the Hunger Games.

“Hutcherson recalled a long day shooting at the convention center in Georgia, saying, ‘That was one of my first times on set with Woody [Harrelson] and we were just running around acting like total idiots while you guys were trying to film. It was so much fun.’ ‘We were drunk,’ Lawrence laughed. ‘That was fun. That was the first time I’ve ever drank at work.’ Hutcherson quipped, ‘It was the first, but it wasn’t the last!’ Drinking aside, director Francis Lawrence says that Jen and Josh aren’t the only troublemakers on set. ‘It’s usually Jen and Josh and Woody, the trio,’ Lawrence said when asked who’s the most difficult.”

The second Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire, is scheduled to hit theaters soon.
