Earlier today the official Facebook account for “House at the End of the Street” updated their timeline with a new poster for the film. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games) and Elizabeth Shue (Piranha) as a mother and daughter who move to a new town and find themselves living next door to a house where a young girl murdered her parents. When Lawrence’s character befriends the lone survivor of the tragic events, they learn the nightmare is far from over.

The poster for the film seems to be playing up that Jennifer Lawrence is in the film, which makes total sense. As her latest film, The Hunger Games, was number 1 at the box office for four straight weeks and has grossed over $336 million in the US alone. Check out the poster for yourself below:

If you’re unfamiliar with the film, here is the official synopsis for the film:

Seeking a fresh start, newly divorced Sarah (OscarĀ®-nominee Elisabeth Shue; Leaving Las Vegas, Piranha 3D) and her daughter Elissa (OscarĀ®-nominee Jennifer Lawrence; The Hunger Games, X-Men: First Class) find the house of their dreams in a small, upscale, rural town. But when startling and unexplainable events begin to happen, Sarah and Elissa learn the town is in the shadows of a chilling secret. Years earlier, in the house next door, a daughter killed her parents in their beds, and disappeared – leaving only a brother, Ryan (Max Thieriot, My Soul to Take), as the sole survivor. Against Sarah’s wishes, Elissa begins a relationship with the reclusive Ryan – and the closer they get, the deeper they’re all pulled into a mystery more dangerous than they ever imagined.
