Jennifer Lawrence has done what any celebrity girl does after a breakup — she bought a house.
According to the Los Angeles Times, The X-Men: Days of Future Past star purchased a Beverly Crest home — an abode owned at one time or another by several A-list celebrities — for $8.225 million.
The Times reports that the five-bedroom, six bathroom home was previously owned by Jessica Simpson, who sold it a year ago for $6.4 million to Sydney Holland, the girlfriend of Viacom and CBS executive chairman Sumner Redstone.
Holland put it on the market in July, which makes this a nice little flip.
It was also the home of Ellen DeGeneres for a while back in 2001.
Built in 1991, the 5,500-square foot home includes a koi pond in front, a pool in the backyard and a spiral staircase in the foyer.
