Jennifer Garner and her husband Ben Affleck are the latest couple to take part in the ALS ice bucket challenge.

To participate, the person who has been challenged must let someone pour a bucket of ice over their head and then donate money to the ALS Association, or an organization of their choice.

Affleck was nominated by Tyler Perry, and allowed his wife to douse him in ice while standing on their pool deck. However, Ben quickly turned the tables on Jennifer and pulled her into the pool behind them, causing them both to be soaked.

Ben took to his personal Facebook page to share the adorable clip of the couple’s challenge. After completing the challenge, the person is required to challenge three additional people. Affleck challenged Jimmy Kimmel, Neil Patrick Harris, Matt Damon, and Garner. “Challenge accepted Tyler Perry,” Affleck wrote. “I will also donate to this very worthy cause – The ALS Association. Over to you Jimmy Kimmel, Neil Patrick Harris, Matt Damon, and my wife. #IceBucketChallenge.”

Massachusetts resident Pete Frates, 29, and his family created the challenge that has now gone viral. Frates was diagnosed with ALS in 2012, and created the challenge to help raise awareness.

“This is a creative way to spread ALS awareness via social media and in communities nationwide,” Barbara Newhouse, the President and CEO of The ALS Association, said. “We thank Pete Frates and his family for getting so many people involved in spreading the word about ALS.”

The ice bucket challenge has helped raise nearly $16 million from July 29 to August 18. That is an amazing number considering the organization only raised $19 million for the entire year of 2012.
