Jennifer Aniston has long been one of the most talked about celebrities in Hollywood, so when news of her engagement to boyfriend Justin Theroux broke last year, we were all ears.

But Aniston didn’t have a lot to say about the upcoming wedding at the time. She told The Associated Press that she and Theroux wanted to wait until the time was right: “We just want to do it when it’s perfect, and we’re not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job.”

At the time, the couple’s lack of definite wedding plans and appearances in public together had led to a flurry of break up rumors, which Aniston addressed: “There have been no canceled weddings. There have been no postponed weddings. There have been no arguments about where to get married. Just clearing that all up.”

The most recent wedding news involves reports on the couple’s choice of best man, and it looks like the honor will go to Aniston’s brother Alex, also known as AJ. A “family insider” has revealed that besides having AJ as best man, the couple wants a small, low-key wedding, something quite the opposite of the extravagant ceremony Aniston had when she married Brad Pitt back in 2000.

AJ is the son of Aniston’s father, actor John Aniston and his second wife actress Sherry Rooney. AJ prefers to stay out of the spotlight and lives a nomadic lifestyle, often traveling between Los Angeles and Alaska. The siblings appear to possess a mutual desire to say as little as possible about each other.

Until paparazzi spotted him recently at the Burning Man Festival in Nevada, AJ hadn’t been seen publicly since appearing at the Hollywood premiere of Along Came Polly back in 2004.
