Jenna Dewan-Tatum definitely stunned spectators and turned heads Sunday night at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards. She made quite the grand entrance on the red carpet alongside her husband, 21 Jump Street star Channing Tatum.
However, it wasn’t just the gorgeous gown she wore that captivated spectators. It was also her post-baby body!
The Witches of East End star, who gave birth to the couple’s first child 7 months ago, flaunted her curves in an elegant, strapless black and white Roberto Cavalli gown, reports E! News. While her figure spoke volumes, the tips for how she maintains it says so much more.
The publication also stated that Dewan-Tatum is actually back to her ‘pre-pregnancy size zero.” She recently shared some details about how she has been able to maintain such a jaw-dropping body.
The 33-year-old former back-up dancer sat down with Ocean Drive magazine for an interview right before the Golden Globes. She accredited her figure to her vegan lifestyle and professional dancing career.
“I danced for 22 years of my life, hardcore, every day, seven hours a day, so I’m lucky that [my body] likes to snap back to that shape as long as I put a little effort into it, but I’m really active.” She even revealed a post-pregnancy tip, stating that she’d incorporated workout of routines into motherhood. She transformed the routine task of rocking her daughter into a combined workout of squats and lunges.
Dewan-Tatum also graced the cover of US Weekly’s January 2014 edition. She revealed her motivation for reclaiming her signature physique so quickly after giving birth to the couple’s daughter on May 31, 2013.
The actress explained that she only had six weeks to prepare before reporting to Vancouver to begin taping the first season of Lifetime’s Witches of East End.
“I was working out almost every single day or walking or hiking or anything that made me feel good,” she explained. So, time was of the essence, but its quite obvious that she got the job done!
However, her main secret to maintaining such a stunning post-baby body with ‘washboard abs and toned legs’ is quite simple – “good old-fashioned hard work!”
Dewan-Tatum and her hubby Channing have been married since July of 2009. Their 7-month old daughter Everly Elizabeth Maiselle is their only child.
