Jenelle Evans is back in the news again, but this time she’s not the one in trouble. That claim to fame goes to her fiance, Nathan Griffith, instead. Griffith was arrested on Wednesday for domestic violence.
Jenelle Evans was involved in the incident for which Nathan Griffith was arrested, however. It seems the two were involved in an altercation that resulted in his arrest. That, of course, leaves everyone who knows anything about the Teen Mom 2 star, wondering about her role in this altercation.
“At about 4:15 p.m. today, Horry County Police Officers responded to a residence on Eagle Creek Drive, in the Myrtle Beach section of Horry County, for a domestic disturbance. This is the location where a television show called Teen Mom 2 is being filmed,” the Horry County Police Department told E! News via a written statement.
“Officers investigated and determined that an assault had taken place, as a result of an argument between two persons who were determined to be household members. Officers arrested one Nathan Griffith, 27 years of age, of Myrtle Beach, SC. He has been charged with one count of Criminal Domestic Violence and he is presently being held at the Horry County Detention Center.”
Jenelle Evans reportedly told police officers that she had been living at a nearby hotel, and had returned home to gather some of her belongings when she was assaulted. She claims Nathan Griffith pinned her against the toilet and wrestled her for her engagement ring. She was left with a cut on her finger from the assault.

Certainly no one should ever condone any form of domestic violence, but it should be mentioned that Jenelle Evans has quite a record all her own. Among the arrests on the Teen Mom 2 star’s rap sheet are a couple of assault charges.
It wasn’t long ago that Jenelle Evans was arrested for driving without a license. The issue was quickly taken care of, but resulted in yet another mugshot for the Teen Mom 2 star.
Do you expect that Jenelle Evans was assaulting Nathan Griffith, too, when police were called and he was the only one caught? Or did Nathan Griffith overtly assault Jenelle Evans?
And does a cut on her pinky–when she was trying to prevent Nathan Griffith from removing her engagement ring–constitute assault?
What’s your take on this Jenelle Evans domestic assault case?
