For a couple who like to keep their personal lives private, Javier Bardem and wife Penelope Cruz couldn’t have picked a better day to welcome their second child into the world. While all eyes were patiently waiting on London and the arrival of the royal heir, Cruz quietly gave birth to a baby girl on the same day Prince George Alexander Louis, was born.
A representative confirmed that Cruz gave birth at the Ruber Internacional Hospital in Madrid.
Cruz confirmed she was pregnant for a second time to Spanish television station TVE! in February, saying that she was “tremendously happy and excited.”

Motherhood is something Cruz didn’t fully understand until it finally happened to her. Not long after the actress gave birth to their first child, she told Vogue magazine, “Even if you have heard from all your friends and family, ‘This is what’s going to happen,’ until it happens to you, it’s hard to understand in your soul.”
The couple, who met on the set of Vicky Cristina Barcelona in 2007, were married in the Bahamas in July 2010. They had their first child, son Leonardo Encinas Bardem, in January 2011.
Since the birth of their son Leo, Cruz has been determined to put her family first. In an interview with Haper’s Bazaar in April 2012, Cruz said, “Maybe I’ll make one movie a year, maybe two, but it’s not going to be more than that because I have other priorities now.”
The couple can be seen together in the upcoming film, The Counselor, also starring Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, and Cameron Diaz. The film is set to be released on October 25.
Comedienne Jen Kirkman tweeted her comments on the babies on Tuesday.
I'm just gonna say what we're all thinking; Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem's baby is way hotter than the Royal One.

I’m not sure if I agree with her, but Cruz and Bardem’s baby will most definitely have a better tan.
