Jane Seymour, after over 20 years, has felt that she had enough of her husband James Keach. The couple have been on the verge for some time now, and now it seems to be official with Seymour filing for legal separation.
Seymour is an English actress, most well-known for her role on the series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, a show that ran from 1993-1998. She has mostly appeared in TV movies and select TV series, usually only for a brief stint such as Smallville, which she was on for 6 episodes. She also played a Bond girl in Live And Let Die.
She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split, but has left the date of separation unknown, according to court documents that were obtained by E! News. The papers were filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Keach is an American actor, and while he has appeared in over 60 films and television shows beginning in 1971, he has never been able to become a star like some celebrities. He is also a director, and directed the new indie comedy Waiting For Forever, as well as episodes of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.
The news of their separation comes more than six months after the couple announced their plans for divorce. At the time of the announcement,
Jane Seymour’s rep did say that they would continue their relationship as parents, business partners, and in charitable donations that they have worked together on throughout their marriage. The couple have two children together, twin sons at 17-years-old, Kristopher and Johnny.
Seymour has reportedly requested joint legal and physical custody of their children in the divorce, although she is not requesting spousal support.
At 62, Jane Seymour is finally ready for an official break from her actor-husband, Keach, who is 65-years-old.
