This season (Season 14) of Dancing With the Stars is seeming to be very cutthroat, especially with the bar being raised very high. Eliminated last night during the results (Week 7), Jaleel White, well-known actor and comedian (mostly known as Family Matters‘ Steve Urkel) lost the final dance battle against his opponent Roshon Fegan, a Disney Channel star.

Jaleel White (who was paired with Australian dancer Kym Johnson) has experienced a bumpy ride during this season, overcoming a roller coaster of judges comments from week to week. This week, Jaleel ended up in the bottom two finalists again, and was no stranger to this season’s introduced dance duel, where the bottom two couples dance side by side simultaneously to impress the judges for them to stay.

From a dance technique perspective, I do have to agree with the judges that Roshon (and partner Chelsie Hightower) did have a stronger, more content-filled, and fluid Rumba than Jaleel and Kym, even though there was some improvement with Jaleel’s arms and lines (as noted in the video clip).
