Jaimie Alexander is fast becoming a fixture on NBC. The network has already ordered a second season of the new hit thriller, Blindspot. A very early order for season two was announced on Monday.
Jaimie Alexander stars as Blindspot’s mystery woman. She is covered with tattoos–each of which provides clues to a crime. Sullivan Stapleton plays opposite Jaimie Alexander, as the FBI agent investigating her case, as well as those cases prompted by her tattoos.

According to the L.A. Times, networks typically wait until much later in the fall season to announce which shows they will renew. Blindspot has been such a huge hit thus far, NBC saw no reason to keep fans–and stars including Alexander and Stapleton–hanging in the lurch.
Blindspot has averaged 9.3 millions views with each broadcast.
