Hugh Hefner seems to be living the dream as an elderly playboy in a mansion with several bunnies adapting to his every whim.
It seems like Hugh Hefner had the system figured out. Give a certain type of girl money, cars, and a mansion to live in, and she will do ANYTHING to keep it.
Hugh Hefner, 88, is famous for his high-profile parties and bunny love, but lately Hef's lifestyle has been exposed by some former bunnies as, well, fading.
While a lot of people joke about Hugh Hefner's lifestyle becoming sort of a Weekend At Bernie's situation, that may not be all that far from the truth.
However, she said life was not all that great with Hugh Hefner. She revealed that the girls had a strict and "opressive" routine that Hefner insisted be kept. She also detailed how she once ended up in a bathtub contemplating suicide because of all the stress of being Hugh Hefner's main bunny.
Holly Madison is not the first to bash Hugh Hefner's fading lifestyle, though. Earlier this year, former bunnies and British twins, Carla and Melissa Howe, opened up about recent life at the mansion.
They say with Hugh Hefner's marriage to Crystal Harris and his obvious ageing, it's no surprise that his wild lifestyle isn't what it used to be.
The twins said that living in Hugh Hefner's mansion “like being in prison.”
Carla Howe said, “When you’re here you have to be in by the nine pm curfew. You’re not allowed to invite any friends up to see you. You’re definitely not allowed male visitors. If you break the rules you get banned. Once you’re out, you’re out, you can’t come back."
They say that Hugh Hefner has also imposed some financial cutbacks that have seriously cramped the bunny lifestyle.
Apparently the bunnies used to be paid an almost $700 per week allowance from Hugh Hefner, and now it's just down to free room and board.
“The Playmate of the Year used to get a Porsche,” revealed Carla. “Now she gets a Mini Cooper that she has to return after a year!”
Add to that Hugh Hefner's reportedly "boring movie nights" and you have an almost complete absence of the glamour that once was.
What do you think about Hugh Hefner's fading lifestyle?
I guess it was bound to happen at some point.
