Hugh Hefner has had many girlfriends over the years--many of them simultaneous--so it's no surprise that when former Playmate Kendra Wilkinson announced that she was getting married to Hank Baskett, Hefner was totally supportive.
The Playboy founder was 78 and she was 18 when she moved into the mansion, and she said recently on an episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! that she had been living in a tiny apartment before that and was ready to move on.
"I just wanted to party. And I had a damn good time. It was so much fun. … Hef asked me to be one of his girlfriends and live in the mansion and I was like, ‘I don’t even know what that means, but hell, yeah! I’m there!’ I was living in this (small) apartment. … I was praying for anything to get me out of there. … I moved in and weeks went by and I didn’t know that sex was involved. Because I knew nothing about Playboy. I had just graduated high school," she said.
Wilkinson said that Hefner even offered up the mansion as a venue for the wedding and would foot the bill.
"I got married at the mansion! It was like, over a million [dollars]. It was so beautiful," she said.
The former star of The Girls Next Door has been having marital troubles just lately after Baskett allegedly cheated on her. The couple have been sharing their issues on her new reality show, Kendra On Top.
