Elizabeth Norment, most recently known for playing Nancy Kaufberger on the hit Netflix original series House of Cards, has died. She was 61.
NBC News reports that Norment died at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC, but the specifics of her death are still unknown.
“Everyone at ‘House of Cards’ is deeply saddened by Elizabeth’s passing. She was a talented actress, a warm soul and a good friend to us all,” said showrunner Beau Willimon in a statement.

Although House of Cards was Norment’s biggest role to date, the actress appeared in over two dozen films and television series, including Law & Order, All My Children, Party of Five, ER, and Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion.
