If you have been following TLC’s reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, you probably already know that Alana’s (aka Honey Boo Boo’s) sister Anna “Chickadee” Shannon became engaged to her boyfriend Michael Cardwell back in March.

To keep with the traditional redneck theme of Alana’s family, Michael, a truck mechanic, chose to propose to Anna in a not so traditional way.

Michael brought Anna a pizza and when she opened it the words “Marry Me” were spelled out with pepperonis. Before asking his girlfriend of a year, Michael made sure to ask Mama June and her husband Mike (aka Sugar Bear) Thompson for their blessing.

On Saturday, the single mom to daughter Kaitlyn tied the knot to her fiance. “I’m so excited to be marrying Michael,” Anna told PEOPLE before the ceremony. “[My daughter] Kaitlyn and I are very lucky to have him, and we can’t wait to grow our family. I can’t wait to be his wife.”

Michael revealed the he was prepared to be a good husband and father. “Her [Anna] and Kaitlyn … I love them with all my heart, I wouldn’t trade them for nothing,” Michael said. It’s a good thing that Michael loves kids because Anna admits that she would like to expand their family very soon. During an interview with Radar Online in April, Anna said that she would love to have a little boy. “We want two more kids,” Anna said. “I really want a little boy. Mama thinks I should wait, but I know I’m ready for more!”

The new season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo will air on TLC on June 19, and will include footage of Anna and Michael’s wedding.
