Holly Madison is set to release a book about her life as Hugh Hefner’s number one bunny and her life inside the Playboy mansion.
The book by Holly Madison is rumored to illuminate the not-so-glamorous aspects of Holly Madison’s life as she rose to rule in the Playboy mansion, filmed Girls Next Door, and shared Hugh Hefner’s bedroom.
A press release for Holly Madison’s book, which is called Down the Rabbit Hole, said, “…What seemed like a fairytale life inside the Playboy Mansion—including A-list celebrity parties and her own #1-rated television show for four years—quickly devolved into an oppressive routine of strict rules, manipulation, and battles with ambitious, backstabbing bunnies.”
It continued, “Life inside the notorious Mansion wasn’t a dream at all—and quickly became her nightmare. After losing her identity, her sense of self-worth, and her hope for the future, Holly found herself sitting alone in a bathtub contemplating suicide.”
Holly Madison’s book will also give a glimpse into what it was like for her to live with the other “girls next door”.
“In this shockingly candid and surprisingly moving memoir, this thoughtful and introspective woman opens up about life inside the Mansion, the drugs, the sex, the abuse, the infamous parties, and her real behind-the-scenes life with Bridget, Kendra, and, of course, Mr. Playboy himself.”
Sounds interesting. Of course, Holly Madison lives a very different life now.
Holly Madison is married and has a toddler. She obviously adores being a mother.
Holly Madison said of her new book, “I’m excited to finally share my story and what I’ve learned from my personal experiences both inside and outside of the Playboy Mansion.”
She added, “I think my stories will surprise people and I’m looking forward to lifting the veil of mystique and clearing up the misconceptions so often associated with my life.”
What do you think of Holly Madison’s new book? Would you read it?
