Hilary Duff took to Twitter yesterday to clear up rumors that she is trying for another baby…a girl to be exact.

Duff already has a one-year-old son, Luca, and says she and her husband, Mike Comrie, are not trying for a second child right now. Although she loves being a mom and says she is “obsessed” with Luca, she also says the “only baby she is working on right now is her album”.

The rumors started after she gave an interview at Haylie Duff’s, “The Real Girl’s Kitchen“, book signing. She reportedly said, “If I had another boy, I would be happy, but I would like to try for a girl and I’m not sure that I want to have three kids.” Somehow, this statement got construed as meaning, “My husband and I are trying for another baby and we hope it is a girl.”

Duff instantly had that motherly intuition and admits she does want more children down the road, just not now. When she first found out she was pregnant with Luca, she said she didn’t know what to do with a boy. “I actually had this strong intuition that I was having a boy, and I was so excited, but I grew up with a sister and I was like, ‘I don’t know what to do with a boy!’”

However, like all new mothers, she figured it out. “The bond has been so incredible! I love play wrestling with him and I love how sweet and cuddly he gets.” She added, “The mom and boy relationship is really, really sweet and I’m so obsessed with him.”
