Pamela Anderson says she’s free of Hepatitis C, and she’s celebrating in a rather naked way.
“I am CURED!!! – I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment. It will be more available soon. I know treatment is hard to get still…#dontlosehope #itworkedforme #thereisacure #love #happy #americanliverfoundation #celebration #Idontknowwhattodo #iwanttohelp #cannes #iloveboats #onthesea #free,” Anderson wrote on Instagram.

Anderson announced she was about to go on a new drug regimen in August. It looks like it worked. There is a catch, however. The drug treatment can cost as much as $100,000.
Of course, most living with Hep C cannot afford this.
Anderson contracted Hepatitis C in 2002, supposedly from sharing tattoo needles with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.
Another cause Anderson is passionate about? Rainforests. She recently announced, on Instagram, that she’ll be auctioning off her engagement ring for the Cool Earth organization.
“I’ve been an activist for over 20 years. I realized quickly that the state of the planet, the rainforests and oceans – and the need for environmental protection and awareness – affects ALL lives,” she wrote. “I can only do my humble part – but I determined every day to find unique ways to support organizations I’m close to, like Cool Earth. I know the work they do is some of the most important work there is.
The rainforests are the lungs of the earth – we need to breathe to survive. They are being mowed down. We need to make people understand in a capitalistic world that the value of a tree standing is greater than it is fallen.”
