Gwen Stefani had every intention of making it to boyfriend Blake Shelton’s concert in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday night–even despite threats by Westboro Baptist Church that they planned to protest the event.

Gwen made it to Blake’s show–but she didn’t expect she would, once her travels to Missouri got underway.

Traveling with her sister-in-law, Jenny Stefani, Gwen Stefani shared her travel woes with her Twitter followers.

First, the ladies missed their initial flight.

Next, Gwen Stefani and her sister-in-law secured another flight.

Jenny and Gwen Stefani had a layover in Phoenix.

Gwen posed by a tabloid cover that says she and Blake Shelton broke up–so not true.

They finally landed in Kansas City, but that didn’t mean Gwen Stefani’s worries were over.

Gwen Stefani was one lucky girl.

She checked in with her All Access pass to Blake’s show.

Gwen Stefani and her sister-in-law arrived just in time to see Blake Shelton take the stage.

Even though Gwen Stefani believes she was lucky to arrive in the knick of time, most people believe Blake Shelton is the lucky one.
