  • Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are now public as a couple, and although fans are happy for them, some have been curious about the timing of their announcement. According to TMZ, Stefani’s ex, Gavin Rossdale, allegedly believes the duo had an affair.

A source close to Rossdale says he believes that Gwen was seeing Blake while she was still married to him–and while Blake was still married to country star Miranda Lambert–because their relationship comes not long after both couple’s divorces. However, Stefani hinted in a recent interview that Rossdale was to blame for the dissolution of their marriage, saying her life “blew up” and recording a song called “Used To Love You” which is clearly aimed at him.

During a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, Gwen declined to confirm rumors that she and Blake were an item but called him “hot”, seemingly confirming the rumors before they officially announced their relationship. She also spoke about her new songs, saying she’d written so many during her tumultuous time with Rossdale that not all of them would fit on the album.

“I think I have enough probably for two albums. I got 20 songs. I want to keep writing…My life is so extreme right now. My life basically blew up in my face. And now I’m in this new life, and it’s pretty awesome I have to say — I’m so inspired and being back on the show, and just being in a new place. Everything just feels new. I just feel inspired. I don’t know how else to describe it,” Gwen Stefani said.

Gavin Rossdale allegedly believes Gwen made him out to be the “bad guy” in their relationship so she could cover up her own infidelities. Stefani has not commented on the rumors.
