Gwen Stefani fans were shocked when she announced this summer that she and Gavin Rossdale had split. What they didn’t know was that Rossdale cheated on Gwen Stefani with their nanny.

This wasn’t a one-time fling, either. In fact, Entertainment Tonight reports that Gavin Rossdale cheated on Gwen Stefani for three years. The affair was reportedly going on while Gwen was pregnant with their third son, Apollo.

Us Weekly reports that Gwen Stefani was “completely devastated” when she found out.

“She was mortified, livid, and embarrassed.”

Gwen Stefani found texts between Gavin Rossdale and the nanny on the family iPad. Included in the texts were nude photos of nanny Mindy Mann, and plans between the two to meet up for sex.

“The iPad was linked to Gavin’s phone,” a source says. “One of the other nannies discovered the exchange and told Gwen.”

Mindy Mann was fired right away, with Rossdale claiming the texts were nothing but flirtations. It took months for him to finally confess to Gwen that he had, in fact, been sleeping with Mann for three years. That’s when Gwen Stefani decided her marriage was over.

These days the No Doubt front woman is dating fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton. Who knows where that might lead? Shelton is newly divorced, too, having filed for divorce from Miranda Lambert in recent months.

Kudos to Gwen Stefani for not running to the media with the story of Gavin Rossdale cheating on her with their nanny. She could have smeared his name and dragged him through the mud.

Her reluctance to do shows speaks volumes about Gwen Stefani. How sad that she had to suffer such indignities.
