In a statement they gave Us Weekly, “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment.”
Stefani and Rossdale reconciled despite their break up and issues regarding multi-million financial settlement.
The couple is finding it difficult to separate their shared assets because the two did not have a prenup before they got married. According to RadarOnline, Gwen’s assets are estimated to be worth $80 million. But some reports claim it could be more.
A large part of Stefani’s assets came from her clothing line and her music career which she took great care of. With the imminent separation, Stefani could be required to divide her earnings but the singer was not keen about the idea.
An insider report said Stefani “doesn’t want to pay him any type of support.” The singer wants to give Gavin a fixed payout rather than hand him half of her earnings. The Bush front man’s estimated net worth is around $20 million.
A report from Radar said what led Stefani to file divorce was her speculation that Rossdale had an affair with their nanny.
