Have you played Goat Simulator yet? If so, you might find the small map to be a little repetitive. There’s only so much a goat can do before it’s seen and done everything. That’s why the game’s developers are giving players a lot more content next month.
Coffee Stain Studios announced this week that it will be adding a bunch of new content to Goat Simulator in May. The best news is that all the content will be free as the developers want to try out a free update path for Goat Simulator instead of the paid DLC path they took with first two Sanctum games.
So, what will this free update for Goat Simulator contain? Here’s the full announcement:
ATTENTION GOATS
A lot of you have been asking for DLCs for Goat Simulator. However, we wanted to do a free update instead, because goats don’t like to charge for new content.
Patch 1.1 for Goat Simulator will be adding a whole new playable map, roughly the size of the original map, local splitscreen multiplayer, new achievements, new goats, and more!
Patch will come in the middle of May!
Alongside the official content coming from Coffee Stain Studios, Goat Simulator is also getting plenty of new content from fans thanks to its Steam Workshop support. The game already has 54 mods and that number is only going to increase as more people get their hands on the title. These mods range from new goats and new levels to a chat system that allows everybody currently playing the game to talk to each other.
The new update can’t come soon enough though. Until then, you can get your bizarre simulator kicks by checking out Bear Simulator which has only 7 days left in its Kickstarter.
