Gigi Hadid is dating former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, and her mom Yolanda Foster seems happy for her. She hasn’t met Zayn yet, so she hasn’t spoken about whether she likes him or not.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Foster said that while no one has confirmed that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are dating, they’re together a lot for two people who aren’t.

“Gigi’s 20 years old, loving life, shopping like she should,” Yolanda Foster says.

“I haven’t met him yet, so I can’t say anything about him,” she adds.

It wasn’t long after Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas split up in late November that she started hanging out (read: dating) with Zayn Malik. Malik ended his engagement to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards this summer.

Hopefully Gigi Hadid will bring Zayn Malik home one of these days soon so mom Yolanda Foster can meet him. Then she can say for sure whether she likes her daughter’s new beau–and if they are, in fact, dating.
