Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, and more gathered together in Morocco–enjoying a Spice Girls reunion of sorts–in celebration of David Beckham’s 40th birthday. The only actual Spice Girl who wasn’t able to join the celebration was Melanie Brown–better known as Mel B.
Eva Longoria was present at the birthday celebration, too, and decided she could certainly join Geri Halliwell and the others, and become a Spice Girl, too.
She even has the perfect name for her new rock star status.
āIām the new Spice Girl! #LatinaSpice,ā Eva Longoria wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.
The Spice Girls rose to fame back in 1996. Hailing from the U.K., they included Mel B. (Scary Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice).
David Beckham was thrilled to have the Spice Girls–or at least most of them, plus Eva Longoria–present at his birthday bash.
“Great to see these shy and retiring ladies. Never a dull moment,” he captioned a photo posted to his Instagram account.
While many people say Victoria Beckham is a lucky woman–scoring a handsome hunk like David Beckham–they might just have it twisted around a bit. David Beckham certainly appeared to be a very lucky guy as he celebrated his 40th birthday. How many guys can say they were surrounded by Spice Girls Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, and Victoria Beckham–and that honorary Eva Longoria, too–on his birthday?
