Police in Georgia say they have arrested 14 people in an underage sex sting, and one of those taken into custody is an elementary school principal from Atlanta.

John McGill has been suspended from his duties at Mt. Carmel Elementary School pending an investigation, and school officials say he’s worked at two other schools prior; one was out of state, but the other was in the same school system in Douglas County.

The investigation targeted people who pursue children online and arrange meetings to perform sexual acts with them. McGill has been charged with electronic pornography and a violation of the Child Exploitation Prevention Act of 1999. He is due in court on Tuesday, but it’s not clear how he will plead. McGill is married and, according to TheDailyCaller.com, has six children.

“The operation took months of planning. The arrestees, ranging in age from 21 to 64, traveled from all parts of northern Georgia with the intent to meet a child for sex. Some of their occupations included educator, engineer, laborer, salesman, business owner, software developer, and a musician,” a GBI news release said.

The arrests come just weeks after a similar bust in Lake County, Florida, when 22 men were arrested in a sting targeting online predators who set up meetings with children as young as 13. Three of those arrested were Walt Disney World employees.
