Even though he claims he hasn’t met “the one”, Clooney admits that he has been in love. During a recent interview with W Magazine, Clooney describes his first loves, and they may not be who you would have thought. “When I was a kid, I was in love with Audrey Hepburn. I watched Roman Holiday when I was 11, and I thought she was as elegant as anything I’d ever seen,” Clooney said. “And I fell madly in love with her. I also always loved Grace Kelly. I mean, when she comes out of the water in To Catch a Thief, I thought, That’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.”

Aside from his love life, Clooney discussed his newest film, the World War II drama, The Monuments Men.
In the film, scheduled to debut on February 7, 2014, Clooney plays the leader of a group of museum directors and art historians that are trying to get back the art that Adolf Hitler stole during the war. Clooney said he was excited to do a movie that was less cynical than his normal films. “We tend to like cynical films because we find them more interesting. But we wanted to do a movie where the good guys win and you’re fighting the ultimate bad guy—Hitler. This was a story that nobody had heard about,” said Clooney.

The whole article will be available in the art issue of W Magazine. Clooney also posed for a pictorial for the magazine where he is shown sporting a polka-dot suit and other snazzy ensembles.
