Fang was definitely one of the more interesting characters in Final Fantasy XIII. It was a shame then that she was absent for most of the sequel. That’s all going to change in the final game of the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy.

The latest trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is called “The Divine Task.” It gives us a look at the characters returning from the previous Final Fantasy XIII games and where they are now. Obviously, the big reveal is that Fang is the leader of a mysterious group, but we also get to see where Hope, Noel and Serah have all ended up after the events of Final Fantasy XIII-2.

In other Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII news, Square Enix recently revealed Cloud’s SOLDIER costume and Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII as preorder bonuses for the title. It even includes Cloud’s victory animation from the classic PSone RPG.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be released on February 11 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
