While most people see a third time in anything to be a charm, actress Eva Longoria views things from a totally different perspective. After two failed marriages, Longoria has decided to call it quits, declaring that she will not be getting married a third time. She even went a step further and stated that she has no plans to have children, as she won’t be raising any alone.

Yesterday, Longoria appeared on Access Hollywood Live. She dished on exactly why she has no intentions to ever walk down the isle again. “I’ve been married twice,” admitted Longoria, who divorced actor Tyler Christopher in 2004, and NBA star Tony Parker in 2011. “Been there, done that!” exclaimed Longoria.

The two-time SAG award winner also touched on her sentiments toward motherhood. Unlike fellow actresses Katherine Heigl and Sandra Bullock who considered and executed the decision to adopt children, Longoria has no intention to venturing into motherhood at all. Procreation as well as adoption are two options that are out of the window for her.

However, she did lean toward a slight glint of hope as she hasn’t totally given up on love. “I’m not one of those women who are like, ‘I must procreate!’ I think kids are a product of love,” she continued. “So, if you find the right person and you want to have a family with that person, then that’s when the time is right. But…if I’m 50 and single, I’m not going to go do it myself.” 50 is a little more than a decade away so we can only be optimistic that Longoria’s decision on marriage and family can be gracefully overturned.

When asked of her feelings on aging, she confidently spoke of embracing the years to come, as she isn’t afraid to grow older. “I love aging, as far as getting wiser. I have no desire to be 25 again. Maybe I want my 25-year-old body, but I don’t want my 25-year-old mind!”

The irony in Longoria’s reality is rather paradoxical to her lifestyles on camera. Longoria is widely known for her stand-out role as a wife on the popular Lifetime television drama, “Desperate Housewives.” Not to mention that her latest animated TV series, “Mother Up!” features her in the voice role of a mother who transitions from the entity of a high-end Manhattan music executive to that of a carpooling suburban ‘soccer mom. “Mother Up” is currently filming and schedules to hit television airwaves late this fall.
