Emma Watson played a student at Hogwarts for several years, but in spite of her busy acting schedule, she recently graduated from Brown University with a degree in English literature.
She began attending college in 2009 and spent time at both Brown and Oxford University.
In 2011 she took a break from school to film The Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
During her studies she also managed to work on several other films including This Is The End, The Bling Ring and most recently, Noah.
Watson said that she felt like a normal student while attending college and was never bothered by other students or even approached for photos or autographs. In fact, at times she wondered if anyone even recognized her.
“I’ve never even been asked for an autograph on campus,” she said. “I threw a party for nearly 100 students and not a single person put a photo on Facebook.”

Watson hasn’t said what she plans to do after graduation, but it will likely include more filming. Many celebrities pursue degrees so they have something to fall back on when they stop getting acting jobs or if they grow tired of acting.

She is so great at multitasking that she may be able to work in the field of her degree while at the same time filming more movies or television shows.
For now, Watson is just happy to be finished with college and to have her diploma in her hand. While she didn’t say what she planned to do with her degree, she did say that she planned to have a party that involved a lot of alcohol and fun after her graduation.
“I will be throwing a huge party. And getting very drunk,” she said during an interview last month.
