Emilia Clarke is best known for her role on Game Of Thrones, where she plays Daenarys Targaryen, the bold, fearless leader of the Unsullied and Mother of Dragons. However, she’s about to branch out into a very different role for Terminator: Genesis alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the first photos from the set have arrived online.

In the photos, Clarke–who plays Sarah Connor–stands in blue scrubs holding a gun, and in one image we can see a beefy Arnold walking behind her. Schwarzenegger said recently that he’s very excited to be back in the role of the Terminator after a hiatus brought on by his political career.

“The last time when they did The Terminator it was when I was governor and so I couldn’t be in that movie, but now I’m back again and they are very excited about having me in the film. The script is fantastic, so I’m really looking forward to this film,” he said.

Schwarzenegger has certainly changed a lot since his last time in the leather jacket, but he says that because the Terminator has human flesh, it will have aged over the years as well.

“It’s this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator’s flesh ages, just like any other human being’s flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages. Terminator deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800 and then what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets a hold of him. So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie, but I feel so good.”

Clarke will be stepping into the role formerly played by Linda Hamilton, who went from being a mild-mannered young woman in the first film to badass gunslinger in the second. Clarke has said that she’s been busy in weapons training for the film and is on a strict diet during the process.
