Ellen Pompeo is now a mom to two little girls!

According to Page Six, Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery welcomed their second child, a daughter Sienna May Ivery, via surrogate on Thursday, October 2.

Ellen confirmed the exciting news on her personal Twitter account.

“Sienna May Ivery welcome to the world. We love you more than words can say,” Ellen tweeted.

“Sienna was born via surrogate & I would like to thank my whole @ShondalandTV family for helping us enjoy these first few weeks privately,” she later added along with a sweet photo of Chris holding her up to his face.

Pompeo, the star of Shonda Rimes’ hit show Grey’s Anatomy , and Ivery married in 2007 and welcomed their first child, daughter Stella Luna, in 2009.

Ellen has starred on Grey’s Anatomy for the past eleven seasons, and recently revealed that she may be done with her acting career after Grey’s Anatomy ends.

“With acting, I don’t feel I have anything to prove anymore,” she told BuzzFeed. “Grey’s is in 97 countries or something, and we’ve had this blessing of all these wonderful fans who still love us 10 years later; I feel like we did it. And I don’t have anything else to prove.”

“I’d like to try and challenge myself. I feel like I got the acting thing. I would like to try and see if I could do something different, and be successful at something different. I feel like I’m very successful at acting, at my definition of success. Some other people want films or Oscars or whatever, and that’s their journey,” she continued. “For my journey, I kind of feel like I did the absolute top of what I could do with television, and I would like to try a new sport and see if I’m any good at something else.”
