Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have had a rough year, if the stories about their marriage troubles are true, but the couple looked as solid as ever on Tuesday when they appeared together on Ellen.
De Rossi showed up as a special guest and was a good sport, answering tough questions and even letting Ellen dunk her in a dunk tank for charity.
"All month long, we've been partnering with Ulta Beauty to raise awareness for breast cancer research. For every person that gets dunked, they will donate $10,000," Ellen said.
The couple also cleared up a rumor that's been circulating online and in the tabloids recently about a possible pregnancy.
"It would be so fun for everybody if we were, wouldn't it?" de Rossi said. "No… we're not," de Rossi said when Ellen brought up the subject.
The couple have been in headlines quite a bit this year with stories of possible infidelity and counseling, but DeGeneres has publicly denied that there are problems within the marriage.
“The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. It’s what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We’re really lucky because we know how rare it is," she told People Magazine.
