Elizabeth Hurley recently shared several snaps of herself in various bikinis on Instagram, and the Web has been dying to know how she stays in such great shape.
The actress revealed her secrets to Healthy Living, saying she tries to avoid processed foods, but that the real key to keeping her figure svelte is not eating heavy meals late in the day.
“If my jeans feel tight I try to cut back a bit, and if I stay home in the evening, I’ll eat a very light dinner. I really try to go out of my way to eat an apple for a snack instead of a cookie and I always start the day with a couple of mugs of hot water. Otherwise I eat pretty normally but avoid processed and junk foods,” Hurley said.
The swimsuits she rocks in the Instagram pics are from her own line, which she launched in 2005. Outside of that and her acting career, she also recently put out a line of bed linens. The 50-year old actress stays busy with her own projects and with breast cancer research, for which she was honored with a Humanitarian Award in 2009. Her latest acting role is for the small screen, in a show for E! called The Royals. Elizabeth plays Queen Helena on the series, which begins its second season in mid-November.
Despite being well-known and admired for her appearance, Elizabeth Hurley says she could care less about being physically attractive. As she told People earlier this year, people who worry about their looks just don’t interest her.
If you’ve got time to think about aging then you’re not busy enough. Being busy and interested is the key to being attractive. Narcissistic bores who stare at themselves in the mirror for hours are the dullest people on earth,” Hurley said.
