The Duggar family, formerly of 19 Kids and Counting fame, attended the wedding of Amy Duggar to Dillon King in Arkansas on Sunday afternoon. Amy Duggar is the niece of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and cousin to their 19 kids.

“This is such a positive moment in our lives,” Amy Duggar told People magazine of her wedding.

Roughly 400 guests celebrated along with the Duggar family as they watched Amy and Dillon become husband and wife. Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband Derick–along with their baby boy Israel–flew home from Central America where they serve as missionaries to wish Amy Duggar well on her big day.

Josh Duggar–the Duggar family member who recently hurt and embarrassed his parents and siblings with yet another sex scandal–didn’t attend the wedding, but his wife Anna Duggar, who he recently admitted he cheated on, was there. One of Josh and Anna Duggar’s daughters–McKynzie Duggar–was a flower girl, along with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s daughters Johanna, Jordyn, Jennifer and Josie Duggar.

Just last week Amy Duggar made it clear she was ready to distance herself from the most recent Josh Duggar scandal. She said she was excited about getting married, but doubly excited to change her last name, so she’d wouldn’t be as readily recognized as being part of “that” Duggar family. Amy’s mother is Jim Bob Duggar’s sister.

Fortunately Josh Duggar didn’t show up to spoil everyone’s day, and Amy and Dillon’s wedding went off without a hitch. The two got hitched on the grounds of Horton Farms near Bentonville, Arkansas. The predominant wedding colors were rose gold and candlelight. Amy Duggar wore a sweetheart neckline gown designed by Essense of Australia.

The Duggar family has weathered yet another huge celebration. Soon Jill Duggar will return to Central America and as fall draws near Jessa Duggar Seewald will prepare for the birth of her first baby.

And second only to marrying the man of her dreams, she is happy for the name change.
