Whew! The beloved country singer Dolly Parton has finally released a tweet after she was involved in a vehicle accident on October 21st between 11 a.m. and noon. On the morning of the accident, Parton was being driven by her longtime friend Judy Ogle in a Nissan Xterra when the incident occurred. Ogle and Parton were in Nashville at the intersection of Vaulx Lane and Kirkwood Avenue when they collided into a Mitsubishi Diamente which was eventually determined to be driven by 64-year-old Diane Lish of Old Hickory, Tennessee.
The police also determined that Diane Lish was responsible for the accident. Lish, upon driving through the intersection, apparently failed to yield to Parton and Olge’s Mitsubishi and collided into the SUV at around 11:41 that morning. Parton and Olge were rushed to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center after the accident. Lish was instead taken to Centennial Medical Center. All three individuals were treated at the hospitals for minor injuries and were discharged from the medical facilities within the same day.
News of Partin’s accident had many fans concerned, but to their relief, Parton has finally tweeted an update on her condition and how she is faring. Parton Tweeted, “I was in a fender bender this morning here in Nashville, but I am all good… Just a little tired and sore. Resting at home now!”
