It’s official. After a rocky marriage, Diane Lane and Josh Brolin, are officially divorced. Although the Hollywood power couple have been separated for several months, they just filed the divorce papers in LA County Superior Court, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The couple married in 2004 and have had a very problematic union. Their issues often went public. Like when Brolin was arrested just a few months after their marriage for domestic abuse. Lane claimed that Brolin struck her, but the actress never pressed charges. Brolin is currently in rehab after several drunken incidents that included a bar fight in Santa Monica in early November and a public intoxication arrest in Shreveport, Louisiana in January, 2013.
The Unfaithful actress did legally change her name to Diane Lane Brolin after her marriage. However, she will go back to Diane Lane now that the union is over. The couple do not have any children together.
Josh Brolin has been on a major career upswing since his starring turn in the Coen Brother’s Oscar Winning film No Country for Old Men in 2007. Since that time, he’s appeared in almost twenty films, including a spot on portrayal of President George W. Bush in W. and in blockbuster crowd pleasers like Men in Black 3 and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.
