The Detroit Auto Show will come to an end today and while many people are still talking about the amazing cars that were debuted at the show, the 2014 Auto Show Chairman Bob Shuman says that they are already focusing on next year’s show.
Some of the manufacturers that have really big displays are going to be losing some of their space over the next two years, and some other manufacturers will be gettng bigger,” said Shuman.
“I thought about 90 percent of Cobo was done but I guess it’s more like 65 percent and next year more areas will be opening up – more meeting space, more window space along the river – will make it even more beautiful views from inside, so we’ll be able to incorporate that into the show and that’s a lot of what’s going to be changing this year.”
Next year’s show will likely need more room because car manufactures continue to bring more and more cars every year. This year, many companies chose to combine both power and fuel economy in their new vehicles. While a lot of cars were debuted at the auto show, some stand out more than others.
The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was one of the most popular cars at the show. Anytime a new corvette in unveiled, car enthusiasts get excited, and the Z06 did not disappoint. It is said to be the priciest and most powerful corvette in history.
The 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe is also worth mentioning as the new coupe comes with a lot of new and impressive changes that will allow it to compete with BMW’s new 4 Series.
The 2015 GMC Canyon, 2015 Ford F-150 and the 2015 Honda Fit also debuted at the show and turned a lot of heads with their new looks and powerful engines.
