Demi Lovato gave fans a sneak peek at her latest project on Instagram this week with a selfie, taken as she planted a kiss on her boyfriend’s cheek. Anyone who knows Lovato knows that she’s been dating Wilmer Valderrama for some time now, and as he’s the star of From Dusk Till Dawn, it didn’t take much to put two and two together.
The couple headed down to Austin, Texas together to shoot the drama, based on Robert Rodriguez’s 1996 movie of the same name, which follows a Christian family as they are kidnapped and terrorized by two bank robbers. The group gets waylaid at a strip club, however, which is overrun by vampires. Valderrama plays villainous Carlos, but it’s not clear yet who Lovato will play on the show or whether she’ll have a recurring role.
Demi, who has publicly struggled with body image issues and attended a rehab facility in 2013 for drug abuse and an eating disorder, has been in the headlines recently for speaking out against bullies, particularly on Instagram. The young star has been fat-shamed in the past, as have many of her contemporaries, and she said last year that she has learned the hard way how to love and accept herself, and she hopes she can help her fans on their own journey to self-acceptance.

It TRULY just goes to show you that your perceptions can lie to you. OR they can make you learn to enjoy life…I not only feel so grateful for the love and support I’ve had from fans, friends and family, but… I also feel.. beautiful.
