Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling have been sharing the details of their marriage troubles with the world on their reality show True Tori, but despite protests that they are staying together, rumors are flying that they are indeed ready to end things.
McDermott announced recently that he won’t be taking part in the show anymore, saying he wants his privacy back, and hints that things are over have been flying around the web since October, when Spelling spent some time in the hospital and posted a cryptic message on Instagram.
“This sick in hospital I finally see how quickly life can take it all away frm you. We all need 2 step up frm inside& go 4 it! W/our friends by our side. Sadly I’ve finally faced truth that 1 person will never be there 4 me #TrueTori,” she wrote.
According to a source at Us Weekly, McDermott chose not to stay with Tori while she was sick with sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
“Dean has physically been there for Tori at the hospital out of a sense of obligation and it was obvious and very depressing to Tori. His thoughts were elsewhere while he was at the hospital and he was not attentive to her. He looked for every excuse to leave and pretty much stayed there as minimally as possible. He didn’t spend the night there with her at all. Tori was forced to sleep alone while Dean went home to their cozy house,” the source said.
During a recent episode of the show, McDermott asked Tori why she’s chosen to stay with him through all the bitter fights following his infidelity, and she said later in an interview that having children in the mix had changed her perspective on things.
“When there’s children involved, you look at a relationship differently than you would if there were no children. And I think every woman would agree with that,” she said.
